Thanks to everyone to made it to the last dinner! We had a great time with all of you, and we raised over $700 for Schoharie Valley!
Greetings,
For the past few years, we have enjoyed spending time in the Catskill mountains. The area provides an unbelievable bounty of beautiful scenery and phenomenal ingredients. We’ve marveled at the amazing things that come out of the region, and the people who produce them. As you might be aware, the catskills were hit hard recently with the rain of hurricane Irene. Entire towns have been devastated, history has been lost, people left with nothing.
All of our dinners have included products from the Catskills. We feel a debt towards the region, and to the people who make it great. That is why we are not only dedicating our September 17th dinner to them, but sending a portion of the ticket price their way. $20 of your ticket price will go directly to Schoharie County charities who are helping people affected by Irene.
The dinner also reflects a bit of nostalgia. Our first dinner was called “Beerpig” and was created around the harmonious combination of roast pork and homebrewed beer. September 17th we are carrying on the tradition. We’ll be serving a variety of pork themed dishes, along with a homebrewed Belgian style Farmous ale. Beer not your thing? not a worry- we’ll be serving some excellent wines as well. The menu displayed below has the usual disclaimer- some minor changes may be made at any time before the event. Please let us know any food allergies ahead of time.
Consider us excited for this one,
-The Tamworth
